Our Curriculum

Your child will grow both spiritually and academically using our customized curriculum for Faith Based Early Learning. This well-balanced approach follows the Indiana State Foundations and is designed to prepare your child for kindergarten and also to foster Godly character. As your child progresses through our program, he/she will be participating in art, music, reading, writing, math, science, health and wellness, as well as Bible activities and so much more.

Infants

You can be confident when you select Carepointe Academy to care for your precious baby. We consider Carepointe Academy an extension of your home, and are committed to make this first transition easy for both you and your baby.In our calm and secure environment, our teachers will spend time rocking, cuddling, and talking to your baby. Through thoughtful efforts, teachers will turn carefree routines into teachable moments. We know that your baby has a great capacity for learning. Our caring teachers will make reading to, talking to, and singing to your baby a priority in order to encourage language development. As your baby grows, he/she will be encouraged to meet the next developmental milestone. Each baby completes these milestones at different times, but our teachers at Carepointe are working with you and your baby to help your baby grow and achieve each milestone in his/her development.

Partnering With You

We know that your child is unique and take pride in our partnership with you as a parent. We want to work together with you to make sure, each day, your child is being cared for just how you would desire. Your child’s feeding routine will be maintained during his/her time at Carepointe.

Communication

When you pick your child up, you will be given a daily information sheet about your child’s day. We want you to be informed, and encourage you to call or come in and check on your baby at any time throughout the day.

Sleep

At Carepointe Academy, your baby will by placed on their back to sleep. We practice “Infant Safe Sleep Policy”. This policy is designed for the safety of your infant.

Toddlers

Your child’s world is exciting now that he/she is walking. In this rapid period of development, your child is exploring the world through manipulating, moving and touching. Your toddler is becoming more independent. As your child accomplishes new tasks, he/she will become more and more confident as well. Our program is designed to be fun and challenging for your toddler. Your child’s curiosity for learning will blossom in our character based curriculum. Your child will experience sensory activities, joyful music and movement adventures with lots of active play both indoor and outdoor (as weather permits.)

As your child’s language is emerging, we will encourage your toddler to use language as he/she is able, and make communicating with him/her an important part of each day. Your toddler will learn to socialize with other children in playtime as well as structured group activities (circle time). This structured time of learning includes songs, stories, and movement activities.

Partnering With You

We know that your child is unique and has his/her own individual pace for potty training. Our teachers work together with you as parents to provide the best environment for success.

Preschool

Preschool age is an exciting time for your child. At Carepointe Academy, your child will thrive in our Character based curriculum. Your preschooler is becoming more confident and is ready for new challenges and adventures. Our program for early learners will enhance your child’s confidence by providing activities to help your child develop a love for learning and develop social skills to help foster healthy relationships in the future.

Your child will be provided times of independent exploration and structured activities. Through hands-on-activities and group circle time, your child will develop skills and knowledge in areas like: early literacy, mathematics, science, fine arts and music.

Our strong faith based curriculum will provide your child with a great academic start as well as teaching biblical values and God’s love for him/her.

Your child’s day is scheduled with plenty of potty breaks, snack times, a naptime after lunch and recreational time indoor/outdoor (as weather permits).

Pre-Kindergarten

Carepointe Academy takes preparing your child for kindergarten very seriously. Your child will enjoy learning as his/her day is filled with a variety of activities including literacy, art, music, math, science, social interaction, and health and wellness. Your child will be ready to excel in Kindergarten as he/she completes our Pre-academic early learning program. Your child will be exposed to a diverse array of learning activities, problem solving activities and fun times. We strive to teach your child in a fun environment. 

Your child will have both structured and free choice activities. There is snack times, lunch, restroom breaks, naptime, and indoor/outdoor playtime (as weather permits) all built into your child’s day.

Before and After School Care

With our three locations, we are located by many school districts. Carepointe is an excellent location for before and after school care. Instead of dropping off your children all over town, you can bring them to Carepointe in the morning and our staff will ensure a secure transfer to your child’s school bus or provide transportation to your child’s school if bus transport is not available. After school, your child can ride the bus or our staff can provide a secure transfer from their school to Carepointe Academy. Our before and after school care allows you the convenience of a one-stop solution to childcare for your family.

Carepointe’s Faith based environment is a great place for your child to feel secure. When your child arrives after school, our teachers encourage your child to get his/her homework and reading done. Homework tutoring is available. The day ends with a solid recreational activity program. With homework complete, you can pick your child up and enjoy your evening with your family.

Summer Day Camp

Your children will thank you for enrolling them in our Summer Day Camp. Your child will have a daily field trip, an engagine chapel experience with a great challenge and fun rocking music. Sports activities are also available for your sports loving child including basketball, volleyball, baseball and soccer. This is a very popular program. Your kids will have a blast!
