Frequently Asked Questions

Our Southwest campus is a warm, vibrant “home away from home” for your child. Classrooms are bright and filled with natural light, organized into areas that encourage exploration — from a cozy book nook to creative arts and sensory play centers. We believe a child’s surroundings are key to learning, so we ensure our environment is safe, clean, inspiring, and full of opportunities for discovery.

We see parents as essential partners. We maintain a strong home-school connection through regular communication, daily updates, and photos via our parent portal. We host family events throughout the year to strengthen our community and invite you to take part in your child’s learning journey. Teachers are available for quick chats at drop-off or pick-up and for scheduled conferences to discuss progress and goals.

Your child’s safety is our top priority. The Southwest campus features a secure entry system allowing access only to authorized staff and families. Indoor and outdoor play areas are continuously monitored, and we conduct regular safety drills for fire, weather, and other emergencies. All staff undergo comprehensive national background checks and are certified in first aid and CPR.

Our outdoor playground is a favorite among children! It’s a safe, secure space designed for physical development and imaginative play. The area features age-appropriate climbing and sliding structures. We also have wonderful open space for running and group games, and quiet spots for nature exploration. Because we believe fresh air and active play are essential, children enjoy supervised outdoor time every day, weather permitting, to build strength, confidence, and gross motor skills.

Our faith-based approach is woven throughout each day in gentle, age-appropriate ways. We begin mornings with prayer, share Bible stories, and sing uplifting songs. Our curriculum highlights core values such as kindness, compassion, and respect for others — guiding every interaction and nurturing your child’s academic, moral, and spiritual growth.

We understand that every child has off days, and our teachers respond with patience and compassion. When a child feels sad or overwhelmed, they’re offered a quiet space to regroup, comfort from a trusted teacher, or gentle encouragement to join a calm activity. We communicate with parents about these moments and collaborate to provide consistent support so every child feels secure and loved.

Maintaining low teacher-to-student ratios is central to our commitment to personalized care and learning. Classrooms are staffed according to best practices and state guidelines, ensuring every child receives individual attention and support. Smaller groups allow teachers to truly know each child’s personality, interests, and developmental milestones.
